Metal Roof Solar Shade
Our client moved into this location with a large outdoor, front patio. Because the surrounding area is a key market for high-end dining, our client wanted to enclose the area in order to capture its full potential. However, Florida is known for heavy rain, high heat, and volatile temperature changes during the colder months. Therefore, our design team considered these conditions and designed a structure to meet our client's needs.
To optimize the use of the area, we installed a metal structure with an internal gutter system to divert rain water from the patio area and properly drain it out. We also installed retractable solar shade curtains to protect from the rain, give shade from the sun, and provide a wind barrier during the colder months. Additionally, to help with airflow and lighting on the patio, we installed individual controlled fans; these fans can be controlled separately or as a group.
By creating this luxurious, modern and interactive atmosphere, our client can provide a separate dining experience that incorporates city life all year, during all weather conditions. This added seating has allowed for shorter waits, more traffic, and higher revenues for our client.
